Most stations screen content somewhere on their own university campus and most provide content online as well, either via in-house streaming or by online video hosting sites, such as UK Student Films or You Tube. Below are details of every affiliate station. Most stations focus on magazine style review and news programming, whilst relatively few produce scripted comedy or drama.

LUST - Host Station

example graphicLUST is the student TV station of the University of Leicester is based in Leicester, It was founded by Matt Capon in 2003. LUST focuses on programmes about nightclubs, producing popular series such as 'Shag TV' (ULSU's official club night every Monday at Zanzibar), and the critically acclaimed 'FerretVision' (coverage of Friday nights 'Madfer-it' at the ULSU). This style of programming has been copied by other stations such as LSUTV . They also cover a range of union events and have worked closely with RAG to raise money for charity and plan future events. In March 2008, LUST will be hosting the National Student Television Association annual conference and awards.

Brookes TV

Brookes TV is the students' voice at Oxford Brookes University. Run by the School of Technology, Brookes TV is made by students for local broadcast. Brookes TV is broadcast here online and on SixTV Oxford's local TV channel.Brookes TV is based at the new home for the School of Technology in Wheatley Campus. This houses a state-of-the-art TV studio and a full news production suite. Students involved use this industry recognised system every day to create Brookes TV.

GUST

example graphicGUST is the station of the University of Glasgow and the only Nasta affiliate based in Scotland. GUST is the oldest of the Nasta stations and the second oldest Student TV station in the world. GUST effectively ran Nasta when many other stations collapsed during the 1980s.

LooSE TV

example graphicLooSE TV is the television network of the London School of Economics Students' Union, it was established in 2005. The network produces short films, documentaries as well as cover major school and students' union events. Major visits to the School are also covered, including an interview with Peter Hain and the public lecture delivered by LGen Roméo Dallaire. Staple programmes include "The Old Theatre", a series of documentaries covering the weekly Union General Meetings and "Election Night Live", the count night of LSE SU executive and sabbatical officer elections.

LS:TV

example graphicLS:TV is based at the University of Leeds, and is one of the newer stations in NaSTA. The station broadcasts a diverse range of programming both live throughout the Union and online. It has one of the largest outputs of any NaSTA station, aiming to broadcast two hours of content every week. The station has enjoyed considerable success at the NaSTA awards with its scripted comedy and dramas.

LSUTV - Loughborough Students' Union Television

example graphicLSUTV is the station of Loughborough's Students, and is based in Loughborough Students' Union. It came into existence sometime around 2001 when students started to produce TV programmes using the facilities provided by the media centre, which was added to the Students' Union in 1998-1999. LSUTV quickly developed and has since established a relatively diverse range of programming. Amongst its shows are 'LSUTV news', aimed squarely at Loughborough's students, and an entertainment programme called 'Totty TV' and Loughborough GOLD following the sporting achievements of Loughborough's teams, which is edited and shown on the day that it is filmed as part of the Unions entertainments.
LSUTV broadcast mainly over the internet but its shows can be seen around the union and will be broadcasting as a TV channel using Freewire to all students living in halls on campus as of October 2007.

BUFFTV

example graphicBuffTV broadcasts live and on demand via the internet and programming is comedy-centric. BuffTV broadcast live from Matthew Waite & Ian Roes flat using minimal physical hardware as most of their technology is custom software. The entire station is just Matthew and Ian who produce, write, film and present the entire show. BuffTV joined NaSTA for the 2007 conference and won three highly commended awards, including Best Live Show. After a rebranding exercise last year as ‘MattNIan TV’, BuffTV will be returning with new weekly live shows before Christmas 08.

Nerve* Television

example graphicNerve* Television is the station of the Bournemouth University. Its programming is based around a fortnightly live studio show, 'Top of the Pile', a game show also showing the latest student films. Other programmes include CSI:BU, Nerve*Cast, and Nerve* Centre. Nerve* Televisions main output is through a network of TV's on campus and halls and also through podcasting.

Nexus UTV

example graphicBased at the University of East Anglia, Nexus was founded in 1969 using resources from the University's newly established Audio Visual Centre. During the 1970s Nexus grew in members and programming, with the capability for live broadcasting. The 1980s saw the introduction of colour programmes, and although the '90s saw some decline, with the new millennium approaching Nexus was up and running again with its own Newsletter. The decision of UEA to stop running its technical courses led to a lack of technical knowledge in the station. Now Nexus uses ex-BBC MiniDV cameras and edits on Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro. Current programming includes regular music, film and sports shows, a comedy programme, and a weekly news show. Plans for 2007 include streaming programmes online.

NUTS

example graphicNUTS is an exciting student television station development at the University of Nottingham, and yet another station in the growing band of midlands based student television stations.

SUSU.tv is the pioneering student television station at the University of Southampton and a welcome addition to the National Student Television Association for 2008

SSBN

Sunderland represent the North-East proudly as the flagship student television station for the University of Sunderland.

Stoic TV

example graphicImperial College plays host to STOIC (Student Television Of Imperial College), who broadcast on the South Kensington campus. Stoic's output is wide-ranging(though total output is no greater than most NaSTA stations), including comedy, news, entertainment and events coverage.

Warwick Television

example graphicWarwick Television is the station of University of Warwick. WTV, similarly to LS:TV, has put a strong focus on scripted programming, its flagship programme being Saved. Similarly to LS:TV, this station has one of the larger outputs of a NaSTA station. WTV is the co-host station of the Nasta conference this year, building upon its involvement with the Warwick Student Arts Festival.

XTV

example graphicXTV (recently rebranded 'xtvonline') is the station at the University of Exeter. Founded in 1990, it broadcasts in the Student's Union on the university's Streatham campus. In the past few years it has placed emphasis on building a strong web presence, and all programmes are broadcast online. Programming is currently geared towards magazine-style and entertainment shows, but in previous years a few comedy and drama programmes have been made.

YSTV

example graphicYSTV (York Student Television) is the station of University of York. YSTV has a strong technical background compared to the other NaSTA stations. This technical proficiency has seen YSTV become the first NaSTA station to stream their content online and produce animated shorts.
